Underground City

The Underground City is a vast network of pedestrian walkways that run beneath the streets of Montreal.

The 32 km (20 mile) passageway is home to 1,700 shops and 200 restaurants and cafes.  It connects to several metro stations, hotels, city attractions and the Montreal Convention Centre.

If you visit Montreal in winter, you can avoid the snow and cold by using the Underground City.  The network is called RESO" in French.
