Biosphere

The Biosphere is the architectural masterpiece that housed the United States pavilion at Expo 67 in Montreal.  The geodesic dome was designed by Buckminster Fuller, a famous American architect.

The Biosphere currently houses exhibitions pertaining to the environment.  It focuses on environmental issues including air, water, biodiversity, climate change and sustainable development.

The Biosphere is located in Jean Drapeau Park on an island in the St. Lawrence River.  St. Helen's Island is accessible via the Montreal Metro System.
